Jbpe is a back-propagation neural network editor / simulator. Here is the additional documentation.

Features

Standart back-propagation networks creation.
Saving network as a text file, which can be edited and loaded back.
Saving/loading binary file
Learning from a text file (with structure specified below), number of learning periods / desired network energy can be specified as a criterion.
Network recall

Due the Java security, the I/O operations are restricted, when running in the browser window. Please download the package to enable these functions. Start the applet using the appletviewer from the JDK^TM.

Applications
I have written this applet in order to simulate simple OCR mechanism, which recognizes the figures in the 8 x12 raster. This applet is called jocr, and is also available from this page.
